A status hearing is scheduled for August 29 for the Sears Protection Plan for a Group Action. Do they have a master protection contract on Samsung microwave by Sears. First call on June 20 part delivered July 3 missing some parts of technology ordered and now delivered only on July 24 at 6:30 p.m. Now it cannot be installed until the 26th. It worked pretty well for a while then started changing the thimngs to the Worsr. The first gardening equipment was no longer covered. Then the articles were limited to 20. Then the hVAC systems became 4 elements.
Microwaves have been eliminated. The service remained appropriate. We recently tried to get our refund from Sears for a repair they couldn`t do. We paid over $200. Still no refund, and that`s after calling the company over and over and received the “run around”. It was no longer under a protection plan, but we would have to be reimbursed if they could not solve the problem. After the 3rd time with their repairman, coming in a period of 2 weeks, we had to fight just to get the repairman to fill out a form for our refund. Is there a class action against Sears? If not, it should be. I have not a fridge for 4 months. I had the 3 attempts to repair it and the fourth attempt, they can`t fix it because the part is no longer available.
